Year of the LOVE Bride

Looking back over our year of weddings in 2017, I can’t quite believe how many amazing people I’ve met and how many big days we’ve had the honour of being a part of. It has truly brought back so many happy memories!

From meeting a bride for the first time, on the hunt for the dream dress, to finding ‘the one’ and the consultations and fittings that have followed; it’s impossible not to become totally enraptured with each of our LOVE brides and their vision for their special day.

Whether it’s choosing a playful wedding dress for a relaxed, intimate wedding or selecting a luxe gown for an opulent, winter wedding; there have been moments of pure emotion and sheer joy with every bride and her bride tribe!

Reflecting on our brides and the designers and dress styles they chose to wear, is a great way to ensure that we keep giving LOVE brides what they desire.  Whether that’s the unashamedly feminine and whimsical style of Sarah Seven’s collection, the exquisitely handcrafted gowns from Enzoani, the chic, impeccable cut of Stewart Parvin’s collection, the female form enhancing dresses of Sassi Holford or the bohemian glamour of Savannah Miller, it’s clear that LOVE brides are searching for something a little more unusual, refreshing and exciting! This will continue to be our mantra for 2018 and I’ve already got some exciting new collections and a potential new designer lined up so watch this space!

Back to 2017…here’s some of the gorgeous ladies (and their other halves) that made our year!

(Top left) we love this photo of Amanda gazing out to sea in Kefalonia, showing off her Sarah Seven ‘Harrison’ gown to perfection. Talking of destination weddings – doesn’t Nicola (second from right, top row) look incredible in her backless, Sarah Seven ‘Orleans’ gown for her wedding in Tuscany (check out the full stunningness of this wedding on Rock My Wedding blog)! We’re always a sucker for a cute pic of furry friends too, and Jonny Draper captured a fun moment with our bride Victoria, wearing her beautiful ‘Lucie’ gown at Styal Lodge in December. A tender moment between our #enzoanirealbride Rebecca and her husband Alastair was also caught perfectly by photographer, Emma Boileau (second from left, bottom row). One of our favourite, carefree pics is of our bride Victoria (GB cyclist don’t you know!) skipping through an English meadow (image by Kathy Ashdown) and showcasing the stunning back of her Sassi Holford ‘Harper’ gown. This amazing wedding also made it onto Rock my Wedding blog!

(Top left) It wouldn’t be a wedding without a veil and Charlotte is really styling it out at Owen House Wedding Barn with her Stewart Parvin ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’ dress and veil (image courtesy of Damian Brandon). Likewise, Hannah (bottom right) is giving the opulent décor of Eaves Hall a run for its money with her Enzoani ‘Dakota’ gown and veil. We have to mention our lovely friends Ellie and Harry (aka Ellie Sax and Switch Entertainment) who got married at Ellie’s family home, with Ellie choosing the timeless Stewart Parvin ‘Summertime’ gown – could they look any more in love as they take a moment of quiet in the corn fields…dreamy! (another fab pic from our very own Jonny Draper!)

With so many gorgeous photos to choose from in 2017, we certainly didn’t want to deny you, so we haven’t! Here’s lots more of our LOVE brides to swoon over.

Finally, I must say a HUGE thank you to all our beautiful brides and their amazing photographers for sharing their incredible days with us.

I can’t wait to get our 2018 (and beyond!) LOVE brides ready for their big days and to meet lots of new brides too. If you’re planning a wedding, and like what you see, then we’d love to hear from you.

Lots of love,

Emma
