We’re so excited! Eagle-eyed followers will already know that Australian brand, Made With Love, has now joined our fabulous designer line-up making LOVE the EXCLUSIVE NORTH OF ENGLAND STOCKIST of this incredible brand, and now the first few dresses have just arrived in store!
As soon as I saw these beautifully crafted dresses with the most exquisite detailing I knew they would be a perfect fit with LOVE. The feather-light fabrics, illusion straps and low backs make these dresses ideal for a warm summer’s day or a destination wedding, or to be honest they’re totally appropriate whatever the season/weather… even in our typical British summer or winter!
This Australian label was created by designer, Carla Jenkins, as she struggled to find her perfect gown for her own wedding. She decided to custom-make her dress and then designed a few more whilst also making good friends with her seamstress!
The latest collection, Carla’s Collection, combines high end designs and stunning fabrics with a modern and sexy silhouette to create every bride’s dream…the WOW factor. Using the most beautiful and high-quality fabrics and lace, sourced from small towns in France to big cities like New York, each dress is created to order by a small family-like team, and hand made with true craftsmanship and care.
Dresses are available in a variety of fabrics including French crepe or French lace and some even come in different colours too including ivory, nude and tan.
So, without further ado, here are the first four gorgeous dresses I’ve chosen from this beautiful collection…
Harlie
Harlie encapsulates Made With Love’s signature look. A new arrival to their portfolio of gowns, she’s modern, elegant, sophisticated and carries an air of ancient beauty from the soft and exotic lace sourced from Israel. Her lace has intricate, handcrafted beadwork, with the perfect amount of sparkle and comes with or without a middle split with lace edging. Harlie is available in either ivory or “bone” (a champagne tone). A truly magical dress, effortlessly combining modern design with traditional and luxurious fabrics.
Stevie
Stevie recently stole the hearts of brides to be at the fabulous ‘Wedstival’ event at Capesthorne Hall in Cheshire! An elaborate and unusual beauty, Stevie comes with either an ivory or nude underlay which highlights the unique and exclusive handmade lace, also featuring the signature Made With Love deep V neck. Available in nude or ivory, she is not for the faint of heart, she is a dress to be reckoned with, perfect for a bold and fearless bride. We currently hold this style in ivory with the nude soon to follow!
Georgie
Georgie is a sleek silhouette of class and sophistication. Her French crepe (also available in French lace) flows effortlessly to create a completely smooth effect. She is perfect for a bride who wants to be seen and celebrated for all the curves and highlights of her body. Her low back, invisible zip with buttons, V front and back, and perfect model fit, are designed to make the bride that chooses her feel like a goddess.
Frankie
Frankie’s sensual lace, deep V plunge neckline and illusion detailing will certainly get your guests murmuring. Unafraid to ooze sex appeal and glamour, she dares to plunge deeply in the front as her floral lace decorates the bodice, only to reveal her back so gloriously defined with a standout low V-backline. Her bottom can be wrapped in ruching detail (this is optional) and her lacey skirt extends into a dramatic train. And did we mention the pockets?! She can have pockets too! Fun, modern and delightfully different.
