Hello! Sorry for the silence over the past couple of months, it’s all been a bit hectic with a very busy boutique diary, not to mention us marking our first Birthday with a fabulous event, which was AMAZING!!!! but actually took the organisation of a wedding!! ) More coming soon about this on the blog, and with previews of our new dress collections too!
Last weekend we attended our first wedding fayre of the season at Capesthorne Hall, which made me reminisce about the past year and all the wedding events we have been lucky enough to be part of, not to mention all the wonderful people who have made our first year as fabulous as it has been! First up let’s look back at the super amazing wedding fayre at Heaton House Farm…
Back on a very chilly February morning earlier this year we were extremely honoured to be asked to be part of the annual Wedding Event at stunning, award-winning wedding venue, Heaton House Farm! Not only that, but we were to also feature in their catwalk show! What a fabulous opportunity to show off our dresses!
My sister Lisa (also known fondly as our wedding fayre expert!) and I arrived bright and early with our beautiful models, Ailsa, Sarah, Gillian and Akvilé along with dresses, accessories, mannequins galore ready to set up our stand and get the girls into hair and make-up. The venue was buzzing with lots of happy exhibitors waiting eagerly to meet lots of new brides and grooms, and as always the staff at Heaton House Farm were super organized and had it looking amazing!
Here are the girls getting prepped for the catwalk! Make-up was by our one and only Gemma Hallowell and hair was done by fellow exhibitor Caro Millington.
The time came for the catwalk show to begin and the room was absolutely packed… GULP!! What a turnout!
Our girls looked so beautiful and absolutely rocked the catwalk, wearing a selection of dresses from designers including Stewart Parvin, Mia Mia by Alan Hannah, Raimon Bundo and Intuzuri. They were also sporting stunning headpieces all by our extremely talented designer, Hermione Harbutt.
We were delighted to share the catwalk with our good friends from Seventh Heaven Bridal too!
Our beautiful LOVE Bridal Boutique models!
Me and the gorgeous girls!
Akvilé showing off fab ‘Chantilly’ shoe boots by Harriet Wilde (and her fab pins too!)We had soooo many comments about the dresses in particular this gown, ‘Frida’ by Raimon Bundo!
My little big sis, Lisa and I! ;o)
A huge thanks to Sarah, Mick and Margaret and all the team at Heaton House Farm for inviting us to be a part of such an incredible event! Big thanks also to our models Ailsa, Sarah, Gillian and Akvilé for looking so gorgeous and being so much fun to work with! To Gemma Hallowell for stunning make-up styling as always, and also to my sister Lisa and Jonny’s mum Chris for being part of team LOVE for the day! Oh and of course Jonny Draper Photography for these awesome pics and help on the day. What a team!
Lots more exciting blog posts coming up over the next couple of weeks – this post is just a little token of thanks to the fabulous people without whom our very first successful year wouldn’t have been possible! Thanks to each and every one of you!!!
With lots of love,
