Is that spring I can feel in the air?!?! The sun has still got his scarf on (I’ve pinched this very apt phrase from my fab designer Terry Fox!) but we’re finally feeling that summer is on it’s way! Hooray!
This year’s already been jam-packed already full of exciting events! LOVE have been a part of a number of wedding fayres at fabulous Cheshire and Manchester wedding venues, and here’s the very first of 2013 at one of our all time favourite venues, Styal Lodge, which kick-started the year in fine style with a two-night event, when we were honoured to be asked to set up a pop-up boutique at the Lodge!
Styal Lodge is a family run wedding venue, owned and run by the very lovely Higham family. Their attention to detail is second to none and you know if you choose the Lodge for your special day, you will be in very good hands indeed. This event showed exactly that. The Lodge had been dressed so beautifully and each of their carefully selected suppliers including the likes of Top Table Catering, Laurel Weddings, Silk Wedding Videos, The Flower Lounge, Special Days Venue Dressing, Gypsies of Bohemia and Pink Pepper contributed to making this an extremely successful event showing off the Lodge at its absolute finest. As their recommended photographer, Jonny Draper was also on hand to capture some stunning images of the Lodge and of our pretty dresses of course

If you’ve ever been to Styal Lodge, you’ll appreciate how lovely the bridal preparation room is, and we were lucky enough to be able to use this whole area to display our dresses and accessories, working alongside our very good friends Gemma Hallowell, make-up artist extraordinaire, and Paisley Gamble, wonderful hair stylist from Macleod Bradley in West Didsbury who created some stunning looks to compliment our gowns.
Our stunning models for the evening included Franny Higham and good friends of the Higham family including Izzy, Navaisha and Annabelle who looked absolutely amazing and even braved the snowy and icy weather all in the name of great photography!

What a fabulous event! We met lots of lovely brides-to-be (and their handsome grooms of course) and booked in lots of appointments too! Some brides have even gone on to find their beautiful dresses here with us at LOVE!
A big thank you to Sarah, Richard, Georgie, Poppy and Franny at Styal Lodge for inviting us to be part of such a wonderful event and for always making us feel like part of the family and for supporting LOVE right from the start.
